As a kid, I always loved playing with hair. Even though I personally had thin hair, so there wasn't much I could do with it, I would always look for anyone that would let me do their hair. It fascinated me. I could sit and play with hair for hours, trying to come up with anything to do and always wanting to get better at what I already knew how to do. I would just like to share little tid-bits that I've learned about hair over the years.
Here's a list of some of the basic skills that I started learning as a kid and have worked to progress over the years:
- Braiding
- Regular Braid
- Inside-Out Regular Braid
- French Braid
- Inside-Out French Braid
- Dutch Braid
- Fishtail Braid
- French Fishtail Braid
- Buns
- Messy Bun
- Chignons
- Ballerina Buns
- Ponytails
- Regular Ponytail
- Fancy Ponytail
- Twist-through Ponytail
- Braided Ponytail
Any of these skills can be combined together to make a complex hairstyle. Going complex isn't always necessary though because sometimes simple can be just as becoming.
